The kit features a sealed 30A circuit breaker with wiring and connections to suit up to a 3-Axle electric trailer brake controller setup and most of the work is already done for you! The Battery connection wire features robust protective conduit, heat shrink and crimp already attached whilst the Brake Controller connection is pre-crimped with heat shrink meaning both wires simply need to be fastened to the circuit breaker using the nuts provided. For connecting to the brake controller a butt-splice crimp and heat shrink are provided. REDARC recommend soldering the joint after crimping to ensure a good electrical connection. The kit also contains a detailed wiring diagram explaining the installation and features a protective boot to cover the circuit breaker and protect against accidental shorting of the terminals.
